We know how difficult this journey can be, and we have counselors ready to help all patients, caregivers, family, survivors, and children prepare for anything that comes.
Cancer Care Services offers counseling for all ages, including children, teens, and adults. Our counselors provide emotional support during your cancer journey at no cost to you.
When cancer enters our lives, we don’t always have the support to know what to do or what happens next. Counseling helps manage changes that occur when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with cancer. We tailor our counseling services to meet your individual needs and help you reduce feelings of isolation, learn what to expect during your cancer journey, and teach you how to cope with big emotions that may arise.
Cancer Care Services provides counseling services to children beginning at age five. Therapy may include art, games, worksheets, movement, and dialogue. Our Counselor uses developmentally appropriate methods to reduce anxiety and distress related to their own or a family member’s cancer diagnosis.
Cancer Care Services provides short-term counseling services to individuals and couples starting at age 18. Our Counselor will walk by your side through challenges, including grief and loss, self-esteem, identity, adjustment to life circumstances, anxiety, and depression.
Sessions can be scheduled virtually or in person Monday through Friday between 9 am and 6:30 pm. Please call us at 817-921-0653, and you will be referred to schedule a counseling intake or a parent consult intake with one of our counselors. You may also fill out our online Get Help form to get started.
