We know how difficult this journey can be, and we have licensed counselors ready to help all patients, caregivers, family, survivors, and children prepare for anything that comes.
Cancer Care Services offers counseling for all ages; including children, teens, and adults. Our counselors provide emotional support during your cancer journey at no cost to you.
Our Child, Teen, and Adolescent Counselor provides counseling services to children as young as four years of age. Therapy may include art, games, worksheets, movement, and dialogue. Our Counselor uses developmentally appropriate methods to reduce anxiety and distress related to their own or a family member’s cancer diagnosis.
Our Adult Counselor provides counseling services to individuals, couples, and groups starting at 18 years of age. Our Counselor will walk by your side through challenges including grief and loss, self-esteem, identity, adjustment to life circumstances, anxiety, and depression.
When cancer enters our lives, we don’t always have the support to know what to do or what happens next. Counseling helps by managing changes that occur when you, or someone you love, get cancer.
Our services are tailored to meet your individual needs by helping you learn what to expect during your cancer journey, reduce feelings of isolation, and teach you how to cope with big emotions that may arise.
Sessions can be scheduled virtually or in person Monday through Friday between 9 am and 6:30 pm. Please call us at 817-921-0653, and you will be referred to schedule a counseling intake or a parent consult intake with one of our counselors. You may also fill out our online Get Help form to get started.
