LGBTQIA+ Resource: LGBTQ Saves

Please note the following resource is not part of Cancer Care Services’ programming and is subject to the funds and personnel availability of the respective organization.

 

LGBTQ Saves offers support groups for LGBTQ youth ages 12-24, scholarships, gender-affirming haircuts and shapewear, social programs (including the Youth Pride Picnic and Youth Pride Fest), QPR training for staff and volunteers, and resources for parents and educators. This organization is located in Tarrant County but has many virtual support programs, including a Lifeline Chat on Discord.

“LGBTQ SAVES continues to act as a safe and brave space in Tarrant County by hosting meetings and community dinners for LGBTQ youth and their families. Additionally, we provide online resources and scholarships to youth and volunteers within our organization.

Our mission is to provide safe and brave spaces for social and personal development of LGBTQ youth. Our physical and virtual programs offer hope in the lives of each youth served.”

  • Answers given will not be shared with others.
