SUMMARY:Bluebonnet Retreat: Young Adult Edition
DESCRIPTION:Cancer Care Services is hosting a free retreat for young adults with cancer. In a peaceful setting surrounded by nature\, campers can relax\, connect\, and find support in an uplifting environment focused on wellness\, creativity\, and community. Application is required. Since attendance is limited to 25 campers\, first-time campers receive priority. You will be notified by phone within two weeks prior to camp to confirm your participation. Young adults age 18 through 39 who have been diagnosed with cancer in the past five years and are able to move around on their own are welcome to attend.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for CampCARE 2026!This year’s theme\, All Aboard the Birthday Train\, celebrates 80 years of serving families through Cancer Care Services. Hop on board for a journey filled with fun\, connection\, and unforgettable memories as we celebrate eight decades of hope and support for those impacted by cancer. \nCampCARE is a FREE week-long\, summer day camp designed for children ages 5-12\, who have a loved one impacted by cancer. Campers get to experience all the exciting camp activities; horseback\, archery and canoeing. Campers will also spend time each day doing group therapy activities with a Licensed Professional Counselor. These activities will help campers learn coping skills and how to manage their emotions. They will also have a safe space to talk with other campers about their cancer experiences.
