Spiritual Cancer Care Teams
The chaplain works with faith-based institutions across Tarrant County developing spiritual cancer care teams. These provide spiritual networks of support for cancer patients in their churches and communities. These teams include Stephen ministers, Sunday School departments, or deacons. This partnership provides an extension of Cancer Care Service’s outreach into homes and lives of cancer patients we could not reach without volunteer help.
