Adopt-A-Family Holiday Program

Cancer Care Services helped 42 families (178 people) have gifts for the holidays through the Adopt-A-Family Holiday Program.

More than 35 generous individuals and organizations purchased clothes, blankets, iPods and other gifts from the client wish list. The items were delivered to the CCS offices on South Henderson where volunteers and staff packaged and wrapped the gifts.

Eighteen volunteers delivered the gifts to families in Tarrant and Parker counties including two families living at Ronald McDonald Houses while their children underwent treatment. Deliveries began the week of December 7 and will continue until Christmas.

These low-income families may not have had gifts this holiday season without the help of CCS’s donors' compassion and generosity.
